Whitehaven strengthened their Betfred Championship position with a convincing 34-12 victory over Dewsbury Rams at the Ortus REC on Sunday afternoon. After taking a 14-0 lead into the break, Haven controlled much of the contest and ultimately ran in five tries to secure an important home win.
The hosts set the tone early and were rewarded with first-half tries from Brad Brennan and Ben Pearce, while accurate goal-kicking helped Whitehaven establish a commanding advantage.
